I think the only time ST has insulted me was when Sawyer thought something that seemed out-of-character that was offensive.
All others I just smirk at the ignorance the characters possess.

I agree with the other two conservatives among this oh so blue sea called the internet. I love this comic ever since I found it by accident a few months ago. As for the people in office thing. Almost all politicians do not truely represent their party. They represent their wallert and thats it.

I like SORETHUMBS because it lashes out at everybody. Every possible stereotype is included and exxagerated beyond human comprehension. You can't please everybody by favoring some over others. You can't please everybody by being political correct to all things. You can only insult everybody.

Even when SORETHUMBS insults my believes, I laugh. Because it's done in such a hilarious manner that I can't get angry and because I recognize the stereotype. And because I know it has already insulted the opposite side anyway.

I'm conservative and I enjoy this comic. Honestly if you can't laugh at yourself what good are you?

I find the comic amusing because the conservative figures on the news and in office are so similar to fairbanks it's almost repulsive and it makes me feel a little better that someone else sees them and can just laugh derisively at them. I don't feel like those officials represent me, and I have a feeling fairbanks is meant to be satirical of those outlandish people. Not me.

But mostly, it's just a webcomic, it's not like it was meant to be the new fucking magna carta. Just enjoy it for what it is. Or don't and move on.

Meh... I think this is hilarity in itself. Just like everything else in life some bits are funnier than others and there are people who are going to take this "COMIC" seriously. I pity them and their lack of humor. Maybe they should play the vidio games with Jimmy?

I can't argue with that, but when i was new to this strip, i had thought of it as balanced because its two opposing main characters were both so laughably far out that you didn't seem to be taking a side. You're free to express whatever you like, and that's what makes the internet great.
