The problem is that sex is very enjoyable, and having a baby at a bad time (like when you've been raped, or can't afford to take care of yourself let alone a baby, or when you're 14 years old, etc) is very UNenjoyable. And there, the "morals" clash. (How are you pro-LIFE if you kill someone?)

The Catholic Church, the church that deliberately obstructs the use of condoms in AIDS-ravaged Africa despite the fact that abstinence-only programs are demonstrably far less effective at preventing the spread of AIDS, that church does not call for people to be killed?
And Laissez-faire is about letting the economically strong exploit the weak on the basis that if that is the will of the market then it must by definition be okay, often to the extent of failing to enforce laws on the books to prevent such abuses. Remember the "Laboratory of Liberty" known as Saipan?

The (second) reason that Dr. Tiller's murder made so much news is that abortion doctors almost never get shot. It's been 13 years since the last time. The first is that humans are the only species with an interest in delusionally denying that sex ordinarily leads to babies, and that's actually the way it's SUPPOSED to be.

The Catholic Church has been giving aid & shelter to unwed mothers and their children since before this continent was discovered.

I've never called for *anyone* to be killed.

And I agree that laissez-faire =/= corporate welfare, and that corporate welfare is very bad for America.

I believe he's trying to show how seriously unbalanced people like Fairbanks are. These people have:
Cry out in support of the free market against the perils of socialism, then proceed to nationalize the debt of private companies, essentially charging every American over $2,500 each, to 'save the system'.
Defend the rights of unborn children (often to the point of bombing abortion clinics), then ignore those same children after they are born when they cannot afford healthcare, and preventing some unwanted children from being adopted into loving homes because the parents are homosexual.
Called for the head of a sitting senator, and branding him an anti-American terrorist; then turn around and support a congresswoman who would like to return to the McCarthy debacle.

Shall I go on?
