American Dad is lame. It's a rip-off of a ripoff. Seth Macfarlane is a genius at his voice-talent gig, but really, the "lets be as obnoxious as we can just to see what we can get away with" thing died with South Park, who, incidently, did it MUCH better!

Notice that FG has non-sequitor plots & AD doesn't. AD doesn't use cut-aways either, certainly w/o a joke in hand if/when they do. (Anyone notice that ep. where Peter has a stroke?
