Based on my experience with this type of person, what actually happened is that some moral crusader by day/homosexual by night sorta person immediately thought of the "connection," wrote an uptight article about it, and then Fairbanks read it and internalized its message as if it was his own opinion.

I know it wasn't. Mario jokes SUCK. I'm talking about [Italian plumber rescues princess from green turtle dragon/ape in tie, using flowers to shoot fire, grow big, etc.]. It is everywhere in everygaming comic out there. even I know that & this is teh only one I read.} (my grammar si sucking because how terrible these mario jokes are).

1.) Yes, I did (I don't read many gaming comics). 2.) That wasn't the joke we did. The joke is that Fairbanks is raving mad. 3.) Why would Mario's creator need to be on weed to come up with a plumber who slides through tubes? Seems like a natural to me. Plumbers work with tubes.
